Scott Marshall
Managing DirectorHaving worked in the financial services sector for over 15 years, Scott has extensive experience in property lending, development finance and bridging loans. As an expert in specialist lending, Scott established Roma Finance in 2008, reinventing and simplifying the bridging process to materially reduce completion times to less than a third of the industry standard.
Scott’s vision for Roma Finance is to put customers at the centre of the process and increase efficiencies to benefit all involved parties, ultimately helping customers create wealth for themselves and their families.
Robert Sinclair
Chief ExecutiveRobert helped establish the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) as an independent entity on 1st February 2012. He joined the former parent trade body, AIFA, in October 2006, initially looking after the Association of Finance Brokers and from 2008, AMI. He lobbies government, regulators and other policy-makers, liaising with fellow trade bodies and briefing the national and trade press.
Robert brings a wealth of industry experience to the trade body having held a number of front line sales roles in personal, private and corporate banking, combined with experience in marketing, training and internal audit with both HSBC and Santander.
Robert served five years as a non-executive director of the Buckinghamshire Building Society. He is now a non-executive director of the Darlington Building Society and advises the Bank of England as a member of the Residential Property Forum.
Josh Knight
Sales and Marketing DirectorJosh joined Octane in early 2018 as a business development manager. Five and a half years later he now holds the position of sales and marketing director and is part of the firm’s senior management team.
Josh’s experience in managing intermediary relationships spans both private equity and property finance; seeing him hold positions at GMAC RFC, Octopus Investments and Mariana Capital, before joining Octane. Josh has found his passion in specialist lending; he enjoys working on complex cases and helping his brokers to find solutions for their clients.
Roger Morris
Director of Mortgage Sales and DistributionRoger is well known to intermediaries for his tireless work in championing the specialist lending market over many years. For the past 30 years, he has owned and run one of the largest packagers in the UK and was also instrumental in establishing Precise Mortgages as a principal player in the specialist lending market. With an encyclopaedic knowledge of all aspects of the specialist market, Roger is especially known for his crusading work in educating brokers to help them see and grasp opportunities to expand their services to clients.
Earlier this year Roger was appointed as director of mortgage sales and distribution at Tandem where he is responsible for building intermediary mortgage business and leading the team.

Colin Sanders
Chief Executive OfficerColin started his finance career providing credit on the council estates of East London in the eighties. His career took him from door stop lending to secured lending as a broker, before switching from poacher to gamekeeper and forging a 30-year career as a lender.
Firstly, by providing second charge mortgages in the nineties, then subprime mortgages, before they became a dirty word in the noughties. Colin became the CEO of GE Capital’s UK lending arm in 2001, before going on to set up Money Partners, a loan and mortgage lender which sold out to Goldman Sachs in 2007.
After the credit crunch Colin discovered the world of bridging finance. Initially he set up a property finance business for the Candy Brothers - Omni Capital in 2010, before going on to do it for himself in 2017 where he set up a privately owned business, Tuscan Capital, where today he is CEO.
